Free TikTok QR Code Generator

Paste your TikTok link and get a QR code that opens your profile, one specific video, or your Shop. In your colours, with your logo, in files a print shop can actually use. Free, no account, and it doesn't stop working when you close this tab.

Loading the generator…

First, are you trying to log in?

Most people searching for "TikTok QR code" want one of two completely different things, so let's split them up:

  • Logging into TikTok on a computer or TV. TikTok shows a code on the screen, you scan it from inside the app on your phone, and you're signed in without typing a password. That code is generated by TikTok, it expires in seconds, and it belongs to your session. You can't create one, save one, or print one. If that's your day, head to TikTok's login page and good luck.
  • Sharing your TikTok with the world. A code you make once and put on a poster, a business card, a shop window, a package. That's the rest of this page.

Two things, one search term. Now that they're apart, on we go.

TikTok's built-in code, fairly assessed

TikTok gives every account its own code. Open the app, tap Profile, tap the ☰ menu at the top right, tap My QR code. It's right there, it's free, and TikTok calls it a QR code because that's what it is.

For holding your phone up to someone else's phone, it does the job and you don't need us. The limits show up the moment your code stops being a phone screen:

You want to...The built-in code
Send people to your profileYes, that's exactly what it does
Send them to one specific videoNo. Profile only
Send them to your TikTok Shop, or your own siteNo
Put your logo and brand colours on itNo. Fixed design, round, your profile photo in the middle
Get a file a print shop can useNo. It's a screenshot at phone resolution
Count how many people scannedNo
Survive a handle changeNo. New @, dead code

That last row is the one that costs real money, so it gets its own section.

The handle problem

Your TikTok URL contains your handle: tiktok.com/@yourhandle. Change the handle and every code printed with the old one points nowhere. Creators rebrand. Businesses merge accounts. Somebody finally drops the numbers at the end of the username.

If your code is going on something disposable, ignore this. If it's going on a thousand stickers, packaging, a vehicle wrap or a shopfront, use a dynamic code: the printed pattern stays the same and you edit where it lands. A rebrand becomes two clicks instead of a reprint.

How to create yours

  1. Copy the link. Your profile URL is tiktok.com/@yourhandle. For a single video, tap Share on the video and copy the link. For your Shop or a landing page, copy that address instead.
  2. Paste it in the generator at the top of this page.
  3. Style it. Your brand colours, one of five pattern shapes, your logo in the middle, a frame that tells people what they're getting: "Watch the recipe", "See it in action", "Follow for more". Twenty templates if you'd rather not decide from scratch.
  4. Test it, then download. Free, no account. The code encodes your link directly, so there's no redirect through our servers and nothing that expires.

Which link to encode

The scan should...Encode
Open your profiletiktok.com/@yourhandle
Play one specific videoThat video's Share link
Open your TikTok ShopYour shop link
Open a sound or a hashtag pageThat page's link, copied from the app
Go somewhere that isn't TikTokAny URL. Your site, a booking page, a link-in-bio

That last row is worth a thought. A QR code doesn't have to lead to TikTok just because it's on a TikTok-related thing. Plenty of brands scan people straight to the product the video was about, which is usually where the money is.

Can people scan it with a normal camera?

A QR code you generate from a TikTok link is an ordinary QR code. Any phone camera opens it: iPhone and Android have read them natively for years, no app needed. It also reads fine from a screenshot in someone's camera roll through Google Lens or the iPhone Photos app.

Inside TikTok there's also a scanner, on the same My QR code screen, top right. It handles codes you point it at and images from your gallery. Useful to know when someone sends you one in a chat.

Practical version: if you're printing something and you want it to work for everyone who walks past, generate the code from your link. Then you're not depending on which app the person happens to have open.

Design it like it's yours

  • Your logo in the middle. QR codes tolerate a covered centre by design. A logo or a face turns an anonymous black square into something people recognise before they scan.
  • Tell them what's behind it. "Scan me" converts badly. "Scan for the 30-second version" converts. A frame with real words does more work than any colour choice.
  • Print specs. 2 × 2 cm minimum in the hand, roughly one tenth of the reading distance for a poster or a window. Dark pattern on a light background, matte finish under shop lighting.
  • Vector files for real printing. Stickers, packaging, vehicle wraps and shopfronts go through a print shop, and print shops ask for SVG or EPS. An account exports both, sharp at any size. A phone screenshot enlarged to A3 is a blurry apology.

Where a TikTok QR code actually works

Packaging and product inserts. The unboxing video on the box, the how-to-use clip on the insert. People scan when they're already holding the thing.

Shop windows and counters. A window sticker pointing at the video of what's inside. It works after closing time, which is when a lot of people walk past.

Restaurants and cafés. The dish that went viral, on the table tent. Or the behind-the-scenes clip next to the till.

Events, stands and markets. On the booth sign, the tote bag, the badge. Conversations end with a scan instead of "what's your handle again, is it with a dot?".

Business cards and portfolios. For creators, a card with a code to your best video does more than a follower count.

Print ads, flyers and posters. The bridge from paper to a video, which is the whole point of a QR code and still the most underused one.

TikTok Shop. A code straight to the product page, on the packaging of the previous order. Repeat purchases have never been so lazy.

Team recruiting and hiring. The "day in the life" video on a job ad. Candidates get the vibe faster than any bullet list.

Static or dynamic: decide before you print

The free download encodes your TikTok link directly in the pattern. No shortened link in the middle, no redirect through us, no expiry. Fine for a card, a flyer, anything with a short life.

Flip "Track scans" for the dynamic twin when the code is going somewhere permanent:

  • Survive the rebrand. Change your handle, edit the destination, the printed code keeps working. This alone justifies it for packaging.
  • Point at whatever is current. The same code on the shop window sends people to this month's video instead of a clip from two years ago.
  • Scan counts per placement. Window versus packaging versus flyer. After a month you know which one earns its print budget.

Solo creators are comfortable on The Friendly. Brands with a code on every product, a Shop to feed and a dashboard to watch: that's The Boss.

It doesn't work? Quick checklist

  1. You scanned a login code. Codes on a TikTok login screen expire in seconds and only work from inside the app. Nothing to fix, it's a different animal.
  2. The handle changed. The printed link points at a profile that no longer exists. Regenerate, or go dynamic before the next print run.
  3. The video was deleted or set to private. A code pointing at one video dies with that video. Profile links are safer for anything long-lived.
  4. Too small or too shiny. Under 2 × 2 cm, weak contrast, or gloss under a spotlight. Bigger, darker, matte, and vector files for anything a print shop touches.
  5. It opens the browser instead of the app. That happens when TikTok isn't installed, and the page still loads. Nothing broken.

QR code generator — FAQ

How do I get my TikTok QR code?
In the app: Profile → ☰ menu → My QR code, then save the image. That's the built-in one, and it points at your profile only. For a specific video, your Shop, your branding or a printable file, use the generator on this page.
Can I make a QR code for a specific TikTok video?
Yes. Tap Share on the video, copy the link, paste it into the generator. This is the single most common thing TikTok's built-in code can't do.
Can I make one for my TikTok Shop?
Yes, any TikTok URL works, Shop links included. Putting it on the packaging of the previous order is the obvious move.
Is the TikTok QR code free?
Generating and downloading is free: no account, no watermark, no redirect. Paid plans add scan tracking, an editable destination and vector exports.
Can people scan it with a normal phone camera?
Yes. A code generated from a TikTok link is a standard QR code, and iPhone and Android cameras have read those natively for years. No app required.
What's the QR code on the TikTok login screen?
A one-time code that signs your phone into a computer or TV session. TikTok generates it, it expires almost immediately, and you can't create or print one.
Do TikTok QR codes expire?
The one you generate here doesn't. It encodes your link directly with no redirect through us, so it works as long as the destination exists.
What happens if I change my TikTok handle?
A static code printed with the old @ stops working. Lock your handle before a print run, or use a dynamic code you can redirect afterwards.
Can I track how many people scan it?
With the dynamic version, yes: scan counts and dates per code. TikTok's built-in code gives you nothing to measure.
Can I put my logo in the middle?
Yes. Error correction is built into the format, so a covered centre still scans. It's also the fastest way to make the code look like it belongs to you.
Can one code link all my social accounts?
Yes, with a social media code: one scan opens a page listing every profile you want. Handy on a business card where a single platform feels limiting.
What size should I print it?
2 × 2 cm minimum for something held in the hand. For a poster or a window, about a tenth of the distance people will read it from. Test with a real phone before the print run, always.
Can I scan a TikTok code from a screenshot?
Yes. Google Lens and the iPhone Photos app both read codes from saved images, and TikTok's own scanner accepts a gallery image too.
Why not just use the built-in one?
Use it, if you're showing your profile to someone standing in front of you. Generate your own when you need a specific video, your branding, a file for print, scan numbers, or a destination you can change later.
