What we watch
A 404 page, an expired domain, a dead certificate, a server gone quiet: every destination gets one check a day, and a health badge shows the state on your dashboard. The Check now button runs the test again when tomorrow is too far away.
An alert goes out after two failures in a row, so a passing outage will not wake you for nothing. An anti-bot block is filed as "to verify" instead of declared dead. You get one email when the destination goes down and another when it comes back, with no daily reminders in between. Wi-Fi, SMS, email and phone QR codes have no external destination, so they stay out of the monitoring.
